Dear Friends of Trinity Baptist College:

I hope you are enjoying the start of the summer months. With college out for the summer, we have begun planning for Homecoming on November 1-2, 2013. Mark your calendars, because you will not want to miss the events that we have planned! The dinner Friday evening will be outdoors at the beautiful property of Wayne and Katie Lawlor (‘98) Gray. The meal will be catered by Sonny’s Barbeque, and we will be making smores for our dessert. To view the complete schedule, and to register and pay, click here. The early rate of $20 a person will last until August 31. After that it will be $25 a person.

I will be compiling pictures from the past to create a video to be shown at the Friday night dinner, so, as you have extra time this summer, send some pictures to me at alumni@tbc.edu.

Save the Date: Student Summit April 3-4, 2014

The Student Summit for 2014 will be held on April 3-4. Listed below is Chad Houghton’s (’03) comments on the past few years.

As a student pastor, there are two main events that we will do as a youth group every year - summer camp and youth conference. The most important for us without a doubt is going to summer camp, but next in line is going to a youth conference where our teens will be challenged with relevant preaching, current worship music, and a student led conference.

This is our second year of attending the Student Summit Conference and they have definitely upped their game! Each year we have attended I have been refreshed as a student pastor and my teens have been challenged about their faith and grown deeper in their walk with Christ. We are excited about attending next year’s conference and looking forward to bringing more students and leaders!
 

Alumni Association 2013-14

Our new fiscal year has begun for the Trinity Baptist College Alumni Association. Listed below is the information on the donation levels.

• 50% of proceeds will go to offset alumni expenses, the remaining 50% will go toward a scholarship for a returning student.
• The Alumni Association’s fiscal year begins June 1 and ends May 31.
• Dues may be paid by check, cash, or online.
  
  To pay online, go to www.tbc.edu/alumni, click on “Pay Alumni Assoc. Dues.” For “Designated Gift” type “Alumni Association Dues.”
