TBC is hosting a simulcast site for the Chik-Fil-A Leadercast© as part of the activities of the Graduation Conference on May 4. This leadership event will feature John Maxwell, Tim Tebow, Urban Meyer, and others considered leaders in their fields. Register now.

 Dear Friends of Trinity Baptist College

Ephesians 5:2 states, “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” If we reflect on God’s great love for us, we will naturally want to give back to Him by loving others. From the mouth of Henry Drummond, “He that dwelleth in love, dwelleth in God. God is love. Therefore love. Without distinction, without calculation, without procrastination, love. Lavish it upon the poor, where it is very easy; especially upon the rich, who often need it most; most of all upon our equals, where it is very difficult, and for whom perhaps we do the least of all.” As we celebrate love this month, let us remember the agape love of Jesus, as a Healer, a Listener, and a Redeemer, ultimately laying down His life for unlovely people like us. As followers of God, the very least that we can do for Him is to pass on to others the love that was bestowed to us. A kind word, a simple smile, you never know how you will impact a person’s life.

Corey Waters (04) was nominated by David Watford (04). David said, “I love hearing about the different ministries our graduates are serving in. While I think it is important to know about those who are pastors or church-planters, I love to get the word out about the different facets of ministry work, such as a chaplain (or counseling or children’s pastor). Mark Your Calendars!

You will not want to miss TBC’s Graduation Conference this year! It will be May 2-5, 2012. On May 2, it begins with a Senior Honors Chapel where we will recognize members of the graduating class and hear from some of them. That evening at 6:30 P.M, the service at Trinity Baptist Church will feature TBC students, including the outstanding student preacher. On the afternoon of May 3, there will be an Alumni Ladies Tea. In the evening you will be treated to a concert showcasing the gifted students at TBC.  Alumni Day is on May 4.

If you will not be attending the LeaderCast, please join us for the Graduation Celebration Picnic, Alumni/Faculty vs. Student softball game, President’s Reception, and Baccalaureate. During the President’s Reception, we will welcome the 2012 graduating class as the newest alumni and recognize our alumnus of the year. Graduation is the following day, May 5. Hotel accommodations can be made at the Fairfield Inn at Chaffee Pointe. Trinity has a discounted rate of $79 per night. Simply mention Trinity when booking your room.
