This is the second edition of
our monthly electronic newsletter. I know that for some of you,
this may be the first time that you have received it. Most of the
updates to the database had not been completed by last month's
edition. If you know of a fellow alumnus still not receiving the
e-newsletter, please have him or her email their current
information to me at
JeStanley@tbc.edu.
Thank you so much for your participation in our alumni survey. We
will be going over your comments and suggestions to determine how
we can better serve you as alumni, as well as how we can have a
greater impact on the education and
spiritual lives of our current students.

A Heart for the Arts
One of our newer faculty members, Mrs. Bethany
Crawford, is helping out with our Fine Arts area. She has started
some brand new traditions here at Trinity and brought back some
old ones. I sat down with Mrs. Crawford to find out a little about
what she has planned for this year and what her vision is for the

Mrs. Crawford: I've been teaching speech and drama for over

I've been married for 23 years and my husband, Mark, is now
heading up the music department here at Trinity. I have two
children, Claire (age 14) and Clay (age 10).
Mrs. Stanley: Last year Trinity had some new productions

Mrs. Crawford: Last year we had four productions on campus.

August Activities
The fall semester at Trinity
Baptist College began with excitement as just over one hundred
students from all across the country arrived on campus, making it the
largest freshman class in four years. Overall enrollment increased by
almost 30 students as we experienced a tremendous retention rate.
College began with Spiritual Emphasis Week. Alumnus Greg Peters (92),
Pastor of Parkview Baptist Church, a church he
planted in Palm Coast, Florida, was the conference speaker. Hearts were challenged as Pastor
Greg spoke on sowing and reaping, the importance of margin in life,
and our identity in Christ.
