Dear Friends of Trinity
Baptist College:
On May 4 we welcomed a
new group of alumni to Trinity Baptist College. 61 men and women
finished the course and walked the platform to receive their degrees.
Additionally, 3 men joined our alumni with honorary doctorate degrees,
bringing our alumni count to over 1,700.
This year’s Baccalaureate speaker was honorary degree recipient,
Missionary Robert Tebow. Mr. Tebow started the Bob Tebow Evangelistic
Association in 1985 with five major goals: evangelism, church
planting, training pastors, creating an orphanage, and the training of
the next generation of evangelists. In the last 28 years, BTEA has
seen over 2 million men, women, and children place their faith in
Jesus Christ.
The commencement speaker this year was the Honorable Ander Crenshaw,
who represents Florida’s Fourth Congressional District in the U.S.
House of Representatives. Representative Crenshaw is a godly,
political leader who fights for freedoms of residents in the Northeast
Florida area.
This is an exciting time as many graduates move all over the country
to begin their full-time ministry positions. Please remember to pray
for the graduates and TBC as we prepare this summer to make next year
even better than this one.
If you are a 2013 graduate, don’t forget to “like” our Facebook page

excellent pictures from the graduation conference taken by Katie
Callaway (’07, ’09).

- Missionary to Mexico
I
was born in Alabama, but moved to Mexico with my family when I was ten
years old. I had the privilege of growing up on the mission field and
working with my parents for several years before attending college at
Trinity.
Due to my parents’
godly influence in my life, I surrendered to serve the Lord in
missions while still living in Mexico, and I viewed college as a time
of preparation for the ministry I knew the Lord was calling me to. I
met my wife, Amanda, my junior year, and we got married two weeks
after I graduated in 2009. We lived in Jacksonville while she finished
her education, then we moved to Sweetwater, TX in May 2010 to work on
staff at Broadway Baptist Church.

2013 Alumni Association
Scholarship Recipient
- Whitney Reploeg
This
year at graduation we were able to award our first scholarship in the
amount of $400 from the TBC Alumni Association. The recipient was
Whitney Reploeg, daughter of Eric (‘90) and Melissa Jackson (’86)
Reploeg. Whitney will graduate in 2016 with a degree in Elementary
Education. She loves children and spends her Wednesday nights
in the nursery teaching 2 year olds. She also takes care of children
for Trinity Baptist Church’s outreach program, It’s 4UMom.
There are many other students worthy of this award. As more people
donate, we will be able to provide more money and scholarships. Thank
you so much to everyone who participated in donating this year! Our
new fiscal year begins June 1. If every alumnus could give at least
$15 a year, we would be able to help so many students. This year we
have added an additional donation level of $250, which gives the
donator a Birkman test with the results explained by one of Trinity
Baptist Church’s assistant pastors, Gary Judd (’91). This test details
your strengths and weaknesses and makes a great addition to your
resume.
