Happy 2014! Let’s make 2014 the best year that we have had yet for Trinity Baptist College Alumni! This can be done through participation in events, financial giving, and expanding our alumni through recruiting other students by encouraging them to attend TBC.

This is our 40th year as an institution. With graduates that span five decades, we can all learn from each other. Whether you graduated in 1978 or 2013, let’s join together to show encouragement and support to fellow alumni.

Alumni Spotlight: Patrick ('97) and Vicki Sharp ('97) Weimer - Missionaries to Iceland

As an Airman in the USAF stationed in Iceland, I trusted Christ under the ministry of Pastor Johnny Wright and First Baptist Church of Njarðvík (FBC) in 1991. At that time, the church rented a small, run-down room in town but sacrificed and saved for the future church to have a building. While at FBC, the Lord called me to preach. I went to Trinity, met my wife (Vicki Sharp ´97), graduated, finished deputation, and came back to Iceland with my family in 1999. FBC had begun to build but had been unable to complete much of the building.

Trinity Baptist Men's and Women's Basketball Teams Volunteer at Operation Christmas Child

Last month, the men’s and women’s basketball teams from Trinity Baptist College travelled to Charlotte, NC to volunteer at the Operation Christmas Child distribution center. The teams were travelling to Winston-Salem to play a region game at Piedmont International, and stopped on their way to assist in the effort.

At the Crossroads of Life by Ted Ricci (’96)

Ted Ricci, a 1996 alumnus of TBC, has been the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church in Germantown, Ohio since August of 1999 and has recently published his first book entitled At the Crossroads of Life. The book includes Ted's personal testimony and has received great reviews. Finding God's will and His direction for your life is the heart of the book. Three retired TBC teachers that have impacted his life are included in his dedication page, Charles Shafer, and Jim & Lois Schaefer. Pastor Ted says, "We all have a story to tell and where God directs He protects and where the Lord guides He provides." Ted says we are all commanded to “Go & tell” but some are to “Stop & tell.” “This book was on my heart for several years and I finally surrendered to do what I felt the Lord wanted me to do. It took me over a year to write it,” says Ted. He is praying about his second book Beyond the Crossroads. Alumni & Friends Broadcast for Educators

Trinity Baptist College will be hosting 4 free online webinars for educators. The broadcasts will continue once a month, ending in April. Each broadcast will allow the participant to receive one ISP credit. Upon completion of the session, participants will receive an email with an attached certificate for the ISP credit. The first session will be Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 4pm.-5 Ppm. Dr. Valerie Riley will be speaking on “Differentiated Instruction in the Classroom.”

Student Summit 2014 ~ April 3-4, 2014


Trinity Baptist College is hosting its annual Student Summit on April 3-4, 2014, in Jacksonville, FL! The college will also host a College Days April 2nd.
