Dear Friends of Trinity Baptist College

Last month was our first homecoming for Trinity Baptist College. I really appreciate the alumni who took the time and expense to come back to campus. It is our duty as alumni to encourage the current students and persuade more to come. I am really excited about the things the college offers now for alumni. From “Jesus to Jacksonville” for youth pastors to “The Coaching Network” for senior pastors, the college hopes to instill in you the knowledge that once you leave campus, you are not gone and forgotten. Homecoming 2013 - January 25-26

Homecoming was kicked off with Ed Stetzer, president of LifeWay research, preaching in chapel. Immediately following the service, was the Trinity Baptist College Alumni Golf Tournament at Bent Creek. Pastor Tom Messer’s team was the winner. His team included alumnus Pastor Dale Hardy (’92), Jim Kilpatrick , Executive Director of the Trinity Rescue Mission, and Verlon Dorminey, TCA Football Coach. While the men were golfing, some of the ladies went to the St. Johns Town Center to shop and have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and shopping. Read the rest about homecoming.

Alumni Spotlight: Troy Adams ('02)
- Pastor of Heartland Baptist Church in Bellevue, NE

I grew up in England near a small town called Mildenhall just outside two USAF military bases. My parents are believers and my Father has been a pastor to the military in England for over 25 years. I received Christ when I was 12 years old and surrendered my life to full-time Christian service when I was 16. Through a unique set of circumstances, God led me to Trinity in 1998, and in 2002 I graduated from Trinity with a BA degree in Pastoral Theology (yes, that means I took Greek II with Dr. Cash). God brought my amazing wife Charity to Trinity in my junior year and we were married in January 2003. We are celebrating 10 years of marriage this week!

If you have not already registered your group for Student Summit on April 4-5, 2013, click here to do so.
